Born and raised on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, I relocated to the epicentre of the arts, NYC, to pursue my passion for capturing life. After studying photography at the New York Film Academy, I worked for Milk Studios along with being a freelance photographer.
Being one in the thousands helped me hone in on realizing that I didn’t just want to shoot to pay my NYC rent, I wanted to shoot the things that kept me up at night, the things that made me instinctively reach into my bag for my camera, the scenes that remain in your head once the moment has left.
Fast forward two years, I found myself on the tennis courts of the BNP Paribas tournament in California behind the camera.
Ten years ago, I knew this is where I’d end up. I was convinced I’d be the next Serena Williams. Luckily for her, I won’t be coming for her title after all, because I’ve found my knack for combining my love of the game with the skills to document it.
Whether on the court or in the studio, I let my passion for life drive me to not just capture that “moment” but to be apart of it.
Would love to hear from you!
